Fix a broken calendar link
When a source stops working, Gloss shows a red banner with the reason and a fix. It never shows a quiet "nothing due" that looks like good news. Every source also shows when it last synced.
Common reasons
- The link returns a sign in page. Your course site link expired or was reset. Copy a fresh link (see your course site's guide below) and paste it again.
- Zero events, when you have classes. Gloss treats this as broken, not as "all clear". Usually the link was made with a narrow choice (one course, one week). Make a new link that covers everything.
- The site isn't answering. Course sites go down sometimes. Gloss keeps trying with longer waits and clears the banner by itself when the site is back.
- The link was removed or changed. Paste the new one.
Copy a fresh link
- Canvas
- Blackboard
- Moodle: pick All events and the longest time range
- Brightspace: make sure calendar feeds are still turned on
- Student orgs
- Any other calendar link
Then in Gloss, tap the red banner (or the source in Settings) and paste the new link.
School email stopped connecting
If you changed your school password, or your school or Google or Microsoft revoked access, the email connection stops. Gloss shows a red banner and sends you a notification. Tap Reconnect and sign in again. When you reconnect, Gloss catches up on recent email.
